Nushin and Fayaz had their wedding ceremony on May 12, 2012. Click here to see their beautiful pictures from their wedding reception event the following day. At her ceremony event, I wanted to create a more natural look yet still have some copper toned colors in her eye makeup to make her big gorgeous eyes stand out. From my previous blog I explained that Nushin broke her foot a few days before her wedding, therefore I did her makeup while she was lying down in bed. We had a lot of fun doing this and in fact, I prefer doing makeup while my bride is lying down and relaxing. I again used airbrush makeup to create that flawless fresh look that lasted all day and night. For Nushin’s hair, I created a very sleek and pulled back Audrey Hepburn inspired high bun. Once the hair and makeup were complete, I applied her tikka and draped her dupatta over her head. I am so happy I learned all these techniques while living in Asia. I actually get quite excited when a bride asks me to drape her Sari or her dupatta as I get to show off my skills 😉
