I have frizzy, curly hair and even though I love to sometimes let it go crazy, I do love the feeling of having soft silky hair after blow drying. A good blow-out can last several days but it’s pointless having to go get it done in a salon when it’s easy to do it as home! Sure, air drying your hair might be natural and healthy, but if you learn to blow dry your hair with the right techniques and products, you can actually improve the quality of your locks without excess damage. As a hair stylist I always encourage my clients to learn more about their hair texture and how to manage their hair at home
Just remember: Once you have washed your hair, towel dry slightly by wrapping the towel around your hair and giving it a good squeeze. This will prevent split-ends and frizz. Then let your hair air dry for about 5-10 minutes before putting in your hair oils/leave-in conditioner or heat protector. I love Moroccan Oil, Argan Oil, and Macadamian leave-in Conditioner!
After blow drying, always finish with a cold blast of air to lock in the shine.
Now go swing your fabulous locks around town!
Have an awesome Monday!
